About the Museum
- The Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum is one of the world’s premier collections of racing automobiles and artifacts—with more than 55,000 artifacts and over 300 vehicles. Our mission is to celebrate more than a century of the innovation, thrill, and cultural significance of motor racing at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
- Our facility currently boasts 37,500 sq. ft. of vintage cars, trophies, photographs, fine art, and other artifacts that capture the cultural significance of motorsports. Each year, we welcome more than 140,000 visitors, as race fans from around the world make the pilgrimage to the Racing Capital of the World.
