Setting the Pace
Open through June 2026
This exhibition highlights the legacy of pace cars, a tradition that started at the inaugural Indianapolis 500 in 1911 and continues to this day. Eight pace cars are displayed, ranging from 1915-2011.

This exhibition explores how broadcasting the Indianapolis 500 helped make the race a global phenomenon. Guests will hear the voices of generations past as they’re immersed in different eras of broadcasting.

Track Tours

Kiss the Bricks Tour

Enjoy a 30-minute bus tour that features one lap around the famous 2.5-mile oval with a stop at the start finish line and the historic yard of bricks.

Victory Podium Tour

The 30-minute “Victory Podium” tour features a trip through the Garage Area and famed "Gasoline Alley" with a final stop at the top of Victory Podium. (Offered when track is unavailable)

Golf Cart Tour

This 90-minute driving tour features one-on-one conversations with our most knowledgeable tour guides and stops at major IMS landmarks. (Offered select dates April-October)
