No, families will be able to purchase tickets when they arrive; however, it is recommended to purchase your tickets ahead of time as space will be limited.

Due to the nature of this day, the Museum will limit access to 75-100 students per hour.

Our education department is working to develop activities that are appropriate for all ages from K-8th gradeEach main gallery space will have either a self-guided or staff-led experience that fits students in K-2, 3-5, or 6-8 grade.

In order to utilize the activities and experiences available, we would recommend allotting about 2 hours for your visitOf course, families are welcome to stay longer if they choose.

While the Museum will supply the majority of materials needed for these activities, it is recommended that students/learners bring a preferred writing utensil and a hard surface to write on (clipboard or book) to complete some of the self-guided activities.

All children, ages 3 and up, may bring a free adult with themWe ask that families try and keep a ratio of 1 adult for every 4 children.

Yes! Once you are finished with your visit you will exit the gift shop where you can make purchases. Please be reminded that we are a cashless facility, so only credit/debit cards will be accepted.

We encourage families to explore our website to learn a little about the history of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the Indianapolis 500. This will help students to better understand some of the concepts they will work with during their visit.

While we do plan to offer Kiss the Bricks tours on this day, these tours are subject to change due to weather. Track tours will be an additional charge of $15 per adult and $8 per child.
