“An Evening with Alex Palou” will be held Tuesday, April 21, 2026
INDIANAPOLIS (Feb. 24, 2026) – Reigning Indianapolis 500 winner Alex Palou will be at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum Tuesday, April 21, 2026, for the first speaker series event of the year.
“An Evening with Alex Palou” will feature an in-depth discussion between Palou and INDYCAR and Indianapolis Motor Speedway President Doug Boles about Palou’s racing career, goals for this season, and more. Following the discussion, the audience will engage in a Q&A and meet-and-greet autograph session with the driver. The program will be from 6-8 p.m. in the Museum’s Atrium.
“The Museum is honored to kick off our event season with Alex Palou. His remarkable success will make for an insightful evening of conversation,” IMS Museum President Michael Good said. “The Museum’s speaker series events give our members and guests valuable interactions with the drivers and personalities of the sport.”
Palou is a four-time NTT INDYCAR SERIES champion, winning his third in a row in the 2025 season. His Indianapolis 500 win was the first oval victory of his career and marks the first time a Spaniard won “The Greatest Spectacle in Racing.”
As the reigning “500” and championship winner, Palou is highlighted in the Museum’s Mezzanine. Chip Ganassi Racing graciously loaned Palou’s race-worn fire suit, gloves, boots, and helmet from his “500” victory as well as his championship-clenching race. Guests who visit the Museum will also get to see Palou’s likeness up-close on the Borg-Warner Trophy and see his name engraved on the Astor Challenge Cup, as both trophies call the Museum home.
Tickets for “An Evening with Alex Palou” are on sale now for members. General public tickets will be available this Thursday, Feb. 26 at imsmuseum.org/tickets. Tickets for the general public are $85, members receive a $10 discount. Hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar will be provided.
