Join the Party: “Mules at the Museum” Features High-End Cocktails and Cool Cars Oct. 4

As its first official fundraising event, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum is throwing a fantastic party in conjunction with Payless Liquors: “Mules at the Museum” is Friday, Oct. 4 from 6:30-10 p.m. (ET), featuring cocktails and the Museum’s incredible collection of priceless cars and artifacts.

Big Machine Vodka and Jeptha Creed Distillery products will be featured – especially a signature blueberry mule from Jeptha Creed. Another 20-plus distilleries plus delectable food by Rick’s Cafe Boatyard and desserts by Nothing Bundt Cakes.

Join us October 4 for an evening of tasty beverages and cool cars!

Former Indianapolis Colts player and 1070 the Fan sports radio personality Joe Staysniak will serve as emcee for Mules at the Museum, a fundraiser benefitting IMS Museum programming, education initiatives and preservation efforts.

Based on the classic Moscow Mule cocktail, Mules generally have ginger beer and lime as part of the recipe, but vodka, bourbon and a variety of other ingredients can be used to create a cool, flavorful drink.

Tickets are just $50 for IMS Museum members and $75 for non-members. You must be age 21 to attend. Everyone will have the opportunity to bid on many high-end gifts, including:

  • A rare bottle of bourbon from Buffalo Trace’s 6th-millionth barrel.
  • A Maker’s Mark Distillery tour.
  • Bottles signed by NTT IndyCar Series drivers and owners, and other items!

Mules at the Museum will take place in the unique environment of the IMS Museum’s atrium and display area, with numerous one-of-a-kind Indianapolis 500 winning cars on display, along with the Museum’s current featured exhibit, “Mario Andretti: ICON,” presented by Shell V-Power NiTRO+ Premium Gasoline. Mini-exhibits honoring Team Penske and Andretti Autosport are on display.

Tickets are available for purchase securely online at the Mules at the Museum web page:
